Project-Prosper of Florida seeks to sponsor grassroots organizations who align with our mission and values.
Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible.
The mission of Project Prosper of Florida is to implement human rights standards to promote civil society by involving volunteers in research, education, and advocacy and by granting financial access to grassroots organizations that allows them to develop and build diversity within their own community.
We are a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) organization.
Project Prosper of Florida believes that community social problems are not solved by legislators and policymakers…they are driven by people – not organizations – that live and work in the community. It is only through these efforts that we can educate and inform community leaders, policymakers and legislators about the need for appropriate and actionable services and support.
People who are poor, LGBTQ people, people of color, trans folks, sex workers…all experience degrees of violence and harassment. Not just in the workplace but in their daily lives while trying to access housing, healthcare, childcare, food, clothing, education, and many other basic human needs.
